Du hast ein Faible für Film, Musik oder Schauspiel und möchtest wissen, wie man beruflich in der Kulturbranche Fuß fasst? Dann komme zu unseren neuen Veranstaltungsformat Next Step: Kulturbranche!

Von 18. bis 19. Oktober kommst du mit ehemaligen Passauer Studierenden ins Gespräch, die ihre Leidenschaft für die Kultur zur Profession machen – und ihren Traum von einem Studium an einer künstlerischen Hochschule realisiert haben. Bei einer Gesprächsrunde und Workshops erwarten euch wertvolle Einblicke in die Kulturbranche.

Gesprächsrunde in der KulturCafete

Am Freitag, 18. Oktober, lädt das Kulturbüro um 19 Uhr zu einer Gesprächsrunde in der KulturCafete. Unsere Panelteilnehmenden haben einst selbst an der Uni Passau studiert und von den Angeboten der Kulturförderung profitiert.

Nach ihrem Bachelorabschluss entschieden sie sich für eine Karriere im Kunst- und Kulturbereich und studieren an künstlerischen Hochschulen – etwa der Hochschule für Fernsehen und Film München (Johannes Rockstuhl, Drehbuch), dem Mozarteum Salzburg (Calixto Maria Schmutter, Regie), der Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg (Sara Keßling, Dokumentarfilm) und der Anton-Bruckner-Universität Linz (Christoph Meier, Jazz & Improvisierte Musik).

In der entspannten Gesprächsrunde (Moderation Dr. Dennis Gräf) berichten die Alumni von ihren Werdegängen und ermöglichen einen interessanten Blick hinter die Kulissen der Kulturbranche. Sie verraten, wie sie den Weg von der Uni Passau in die Kulturwelt meistern, welche Herausforderungen sie im Bewerbungsverfahren erwarteten und haben wertvolle Tipps für dich in petto.

Workshop-Programm

Am Freitag und Samstag (18./19. Oktober) hast du die Chance, selbst aktiv zu werden. Unsere Alumni bieten spannende Workshops in ihren jeweiligen Fachrichtungen an, in denen sie tiefere Einblicke in ihre jeweiligen Fächer geben und praktisches Wissen weitergeben.

Du willst ein Drehbuch schreiben? Oder dich in musikalischer Improvisation ausprobieren? Unabhängig davon, ob du schon erste Erfahrungen hast oder noch ganz neu in der Kulturszene bist – hier kannst du deine kreativen Talente entdecken und entfalten. Lass dich von unseren Alumni inspirieren und nutze die Workshops als Motivation für deine ganz persönliche Professionalisierung.

From 18 to 19 October, you can talk to former Passau students who have turned their passion for culture into a profession – and realised their dream of studying at an arts university. Valuable insights into the cultural field await you during a round of talks and workshops.

Round table at the KulturCafete

On Friday, 18 October, the Kulturbüro invites you to a panel discussion in the KulturCafete at 7 pm. Our panellists once studied at the University of Passau themselves and benefited from the cultural funding on offer.

After completing their bachelor’s degrees, they decided to pursue a career in the arts and culture and are studying at arts universities – such as the University of Television and Film Munich (Johannes Rockstuhl, screenwriting), the Mozarteum Salzburg (Calixto Maria Schmutter, directing), the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy (Sara Keßling, documentary film) and the Anton Bruckner University Linz (Christoph Meier, jazz & improvised music).

In the casual discussion round (moderated by Dr Dennis Gräf), the alumni will talk about their careers and provide an interesting look behind the scenes of the cultural sector. They will reveal how they mastered the path from the University of Passau to the world of culture, what challenges awaited them in the application process and have valuable tips up their sleeves for you.

Workshop programme

On Friday and Saturday (18/19 October) you have the chance to get active yourself. Our alumni will be offering exciting workshops in their particular fields, in which they will provide in-depth insights into their respective subjects and pass on practical knowledge.

Do you want to write a screenplay? Or try your hand at musical improvisation? Regardless of whether you already have some experience or are completely new to the cultural scene – you can discover and develop your creative talents here. Be inspired by our alumni and use the workshops as motivation for your own personal professionalisation.
