Entrepreneurship Day – Passau’s entrepreneurial spirit!

Would you like to get to know Passau’s entrepreneurial community and be inspired by exciting start-up ideas? Are you a founder   and looking for a way to establish your start-up in the scene? Are you an investor or business angel looking for promising start-up ideas?

Then the Entrepreneurship Day programme on Thursday, 13 October will certainly convince you! For the first time, the Innsteg-Aula will become a meeting point for start-ups, company representatives, for people from all over Bavaria and beyond who are curious about start-ups.

The Entrepreneurship Day kicks off with exciting workshops and a guided tour of the INN.KUBATOR start-up centre in Passau. Participants at the beginning of their start-up journey will get their money’s worth with „How to Start your Start-up“ as well as those who are already in the thick of things are learning more with „Project Management for Founders“. (Participation in the workshops and guided tour is only possible with binding registration.)

Get to know students from different faculties who will present their respective ideas and polished business plans in a final pitch on stage at the subsequent final event of the Honours Degree in Entrepreneurship.

At 4 p.m., the main programme of the Entrepreneurship Day will begin with a welcome address by the Vice President for Research, Prof. Dr. Robert Obermaier.

The highlight of the day will be an inspiring key note speech by our surprise guest and the presentation of the first Entrepreneurship Award of the University of Passau. This award honours the most innovative and promising founders or founding teams of the university. The three finalists will have the opportunity to pitch on the Main Stage. Following the award ceremony for the winning team, the Start-up Fair will open, giving you the opportunitythe founding projects of numerous start-ups while enjoying snacks and drinks and talking to   founders from the region.

At the pitch competition PATEC, pitches and pizza, you can experience founders who are still at the beginning. They will present their early-stage business ideas as well as measure their pitch skills! From 7pm you will have the opportunity to vote for your favourites and to while enjoying our pizza buffet.
