Am 22. April 2021 veranstaltet der Digitalisation Hub des Projekts PATEC (Passau the Entrepreneurial Campus), bestehend aus den Lehrstühlen für Data Science und Psychologie mit Schwerpunkt Mensch-Maschine-Interaktion, eine virtuelle Community Night zum Thema „Digital Entrepreneurship: Auswirkungen der Digitalisierung – im Gespräch mit Regiothek“. Der Abend wird eingeleitet mit einem kurzen Vortrag über die Bedeutung von Digitalisierung, Daten und der Betrachtung des Faktors Mensch für die Unternehmensgründung durch Prof. Dr. Michael Granitzer und Prof. Dr. Susanne Mayr. Im Anschluss stellt sich das mehrfach ausgezeichnete Passauer Start-up Regiothek vor: Regiothek ist eine Online-Plattform, die sich zum Ziel gesetzt hat, Regionalität in der Lebensmittelwirtschaft zu fördern. Über die Online-Plattform können Kunden nach Anbietern von regionalen Produkten suchen und sich über ihre gesamte Lieferkette informieren. Im Rahmen der Veranstaltung soll insbesondere diskutiert werden, wie Start-ups wie die Regiothek ihre Gründungsideen digital umsetzen können und welche Herausforderungen und Chancen sich bei der digitalen Umsetzung der Geschäftsidee in einen funktionierenden Prototyp ergeben.

On the 22nd of April 2021, from 6 pm to 8 pm, a virtual community night event on the topic „Digital Entrepreneurship: Impact of digitalisation – A Conversation with Regiothek“ will take place via Zoom. The event is hosted by the Digitalisation Hub, a part of the PATEC-Project (Passau the Entrepreneurial Campus), consisting of the Chairs of Data Science and Psychology & Human-Machine-Interaction. The event will start with a short presentation on the importance of Digitalisation, Data and Human Factors for startups by Professor Michael Granitzer and Professor Susanne Mayr. Afterwards, the Passau-based startup Regiothek will introduce themselves: Regiothek is an online platform that aims to promote regionality in the food industry. Customers can use the online platform to search for regional products and the entire supply chain, including the products‘ suppliers and region. The event will also examine how startups like Regiothek implement their ideas digitally and what kind of challenges and opportunities arise while digitally transforming the business idea into a working prototype.
