Danube Cup 2021 – ein Rückblick

Nach dem Finale des Danube Cups 2021 möchten wir gerne von Helene, unserer Gründungsberaterin, wissen, warum der Wettbewerb für studentische Start-up Teams relevant ist.

Wie hast Du den ersten internationalen Danube Cup erlebt? Wie konntest Du die zwei Passauer Teams während des Wettbewerbs unterstützen?

Der Danube Cup hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Es war ein abwechslungsreiches Event und wir freuen uns, Teil dieses internationalen Netzwerks zu sein, bei dem sieben Hochschulen entlang der Donau aus vier Ländern miteinander kooperieren, und zwar aus Ungarn, Serbien, Österreich und Deutschland.

Für die Teams ist dieser Wettbewerb eine außergewöhnliche Chance, weitere Entrepreneurship-Erfahrungen zu sammeln und sich auf internationaler Ebene zu vernetzen. Die beiden Passauer Teams KurkuMama und Pionize begleite ich mit Rat und Tat schon seit Längerem. Daher habe ich mich sehr gefreut, die Teams im Vorfeld des Wettbewerbs mit allen wichtigen Infos zu versorgen und sie bei der Vorbereitung ihrer Pitches mit Feedback zu unterstützen.

Was möchtest Du den beiden Teams mit auf den Weg geben?

Beide Teams sind wunderbar und ihre Geschäftsmodelle haben viel Potential. Ich wünsche ihnen, dass sie das Beste aus dieser Erfahrung machen, das Feedback der Jurorinnen und Juroren nutzen, um ihre Geschäftsmodelle weiterzuentwickeln sowie ein wertvolles, unterstützendes Netzwerk aufbauen und natürlich auch weiterhin mit viel Freude und Enthusiasmus dabei sind.

Wo finden Interessierte Informationen und Unterstützung rund um das Thema „Gründen“?

Wer sich für dieses Thema interessiert, kann sich sehr gerne direkt an mich wenden. Ich berate und begleite unsere Studierenden und ihre Teams auf ihrer Gründerreise von der ersten Idee bis zur Gründung, vernetze sie mit relevanten Akteurinnen und Akteuren aus unserem Gründungsnetzwerk. Zudem unterstütze ich sie, Förderungen wie FLÜGGE oder das EXIST-Gründerstipendium zu beantragen. Es lohnt sich auch, unseren Social-Media-Kanälen auf Facebook, Instagram und Twitter zu folgen, um Infos zu aktuellen Events und Angeboten der Gründungsunterstützung zu erhalten sowie auf unserer PATEC-Website zu schmökern.

After the final of the Danube Cup 2021, we would like to know from Helene, our Business Start-up Advisor, why the competition is relevant for student start-up teams.

How did you experience the first international Danube Cup? How were you able to support the two teams from Passau during the competition?

I really liked the Danube Cup. It was a varied event and we are happy to be part of such an international network in which seven universities along the Danube from four countries cooperate with each other, namely from Hungary, Serbia, Austria and Germany.

For the teams, this competition is an extraordinary opportunity to gain further entrepreneurship experience and to network on an international level. I have been accompanying the two teams from Passau KurkuMama and Pionize for some time now with words and deeds. Therefore, I was very happy to provide the teams with all important information in the run-up to the competition and to support them with feedback in the preparation of their pitches.

What wishes do you have for the two teams?

Both teams are wonderful and their business models have a lot of potential. I hope that they will make the most of this experience, that they will use the judges‘ feedback to further develop their business models and build a valuable, supportive network, and of course continue to enjoy their start-up journey with a lot of joy and enthusiasm.

Where can those interested in starting a business find more information and support on the topic?

Anyone interested in this topic is welcome to contact me directly. I advice and accompany our students and their teams on their start-up journey from the initial idea to the founding of the start-up, I connect them with relevant actors from our start-up network. I also support students in applying for funding such as FLÜGGE or the EXIST Business Start-up Grant. It is also worth following our social media channels on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to receive information on current events and offers for start-up support and to browse our PATEC website.
