Die Frauenbeauftragten der Fakultät für Informatik und Mathematik stellen sich vor

Pünktlich zum Diversity Day stellen sich die drei Frauenbeauftragten der Fakultät für Informatik und Mathematik vor und sprechen über ihre Motivation und Ziele.

„Meine Aufgabe als Frauenbeauftragte der FIM ist es, Frauen an unserer Fakultät zu unterstützen, zu vernetzen und zu stärken. Darüber hinaus ist es mir besonders wichtig, Studentinnen außerhalb der Universität zu zeigen, dass Informatik und Mathematik vielfältige Arbeits- und Forschungsfelder sind und dass man dort inspirierende Frauen finden kann“, so Isabella Graßl (Frauenbeauftragte der Fakultät für Informatik und Mathematik).

Für Shekoufeh Neisarian, stellvertretende Frauenbeauftragte der FIM, bedeutet ihr Amt vor allem, sich für  Chancengleichheit einzusetzen: „Als Frauenbeauftragte der FIM habe ich die Möglichkeit, etwas zu bewirken und die Gleichstellung der Geschlechter zu fördern. Diese Position ist sehr wichtig, da sie es mir ermöglicht, aktiv an Entscheidungsprozessen teilzunehmen und eine Politik zu gestalten, die die spezifischen Bedürfnisse und Anliegen von Frauen berücksichtigt. Gemeinsam können wir ein integratives und unterstützendes Umfeld für alle schaffen.“

„Für mich geht es als Frauenbeauftragte in erster Linie darumProbleme zu verhindern, bevor sie entstehen, und durch Kommunikationsmaßnahmen die Gleichstellung der Geschlechter und die Vielfalt zu betonen“, so Alizée Bertrand, zweite stellvertretende Frauenbeauftragte der FIM. Außerdem betont sie, dass institunionelle Strukturen eine bedeutsame Rolle für die Gleichstellung von Männern und Frauen spielen: „Es ist wichtig, einerseits einen Raum für den Dialog und die Unterstützung zu schaffen und andererseits auf institutioneller Ebene Maßnahmen zu ergreifen, um Frauen im MINT-Bereich zu begleiten und ihnen faire Chancen zu bieten.“

Just in time for Diversity Day, the three women’s representatives of the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics introduce themselves and talk about their motivation and goals.

„My task as women’s representative at FIM is to support, network and strengthen women at our faculty. In addition, it is particularly important to me to show female students outside the university that computer science and mathematics are diverse fields of work and research and that you can find inspiring women there,“ says Isabella Graßl ( Women’s Representative of the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics).

For Shekoufeh Neisarian, deputy women’s representative of the FIM, her office means above all to work for equal opportunities: „As women’s representative of the FIM, I have the opportunity to make a difference and to promote gender equality. This position is very important as it allows me to actively participate in decision-making processes and shape policies that take into account the specific needs and concerns of women. Together, we can create an inclusive and supportive environment for all.“

„For me, being a women’s representative is first and foremost aboutpreventing problems before they arise and emphasizing gender equality and diversity through communication activities,“ says Alizée Bertrand, second deputy women’s representative at FIM. She also stresses that institutional structures play a significant role in gender equality: „It’s important to create a space for dialogue and support on the one hand, and to take action at the institutional level to accompany women in STEM and offer them fair opportunities on the other.“
